The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
CaseThe standard 30, 24 or 15-dozen egg case as used in commercial practice in this Commonwealth.
DepartmentThe Department of Agriculture of the Commonwealth.
EggThe product of the domesticated fowl enclosed in a shell.
GradeAny lot or lots of two or more eggs.
LotA quantity of 30-dozen eggs or more.
QualityThe quality of an individual egg.
WeightThe weight of individual eggs, dozens or cases.
