[Saturday, July 4, 2015]CPC 15.151: Conservation Maintenance of the Barnard Statuary and Mexican War Monument. Yearly cyclical preservation maintenance of the Barnard Statuary and Mexican War Monument. Conservation and maintenance includes repair of micro-cracks, mortar joints, cementitious composite patch material, sealant joint, and fabrication and installation of elective replacement Dutchman for the Barnard Statuary. The project includes preventative cleaning, rinsing and application of an anti-microbial treatment for the Barnard Statuary and Mexican War Monument. The work also includes detailed review, condition assessment and reporting of conditions in electronic and hard copy formats.
A $100 dollar deposit is required for issuance of project documents. The issue date of the request for proposal will be on July 22, 2015. A mandatory preproposal conference and walk through will be held on July 29, 2015, at 10 a.m. in Room 630, Main Capitol Building, Harrisburg, PA.
