First Priority Life Insurance Company; BlueCare Direct Select PPO; Rate Filing [41 Pa.B. 2185]
[Saturday, April 23, 2011]By filing #1649-FP-29-PPO-DS-2-RATE-8/1/11 First Priority Life Insurance Company (FPLIC) requested approval to increase the current rates for the BlueCare Direct Select PPO Plan. The requested rate increase varies from -14.9% to 18.7% depending on the Tier and deductible. The proposed rate increase would affect approximately 440 members and FPLIC anticipated the rate changes would be approximately revenue neutral. The requested effective date of the change is August 1, 2011.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to July 7, 2011, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
