       On February 23, 2007, Keystone Health Plan West, Inc. submitted a filing for approval of a methodology to adjust benefit changes for group prescription drug programs. The benefit changes would include the option to add or remove coverage of prescription drugs for certain chronic conditions or change the cost sharing that would apply to certain categories of prescription drugs. The filing identifies the following eight chronic conditions: Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Congestive Heart Disease, Coronary Artery Disease, Depression, Diabetes Therapy, High Cholesterol and Hypertension. An effective date of April 1, 2007, is requested for new business quotes.

       Copies of the filing are also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's regional office in Harrisburg.
