(CB Merger) and Buffalo Valley Telephone Company (Buffalo Valley) for approval of (1) the acquisition by CB Merger of all the common stock of Buffalo Valley, the merger of Buffalo Valley into CB Merger, and the simultaneous change in the name of the surviving entity to Buffalo Valley Telephone Company; (2) the right of the surviving Buffalo Valley to begin to furnish telephone service to the public in the territory now served by the present Buffalo Valley; and (3) the right of the acquired Buffalo Valley to abandon all telephone service.
This application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, Harrisburg, with a copy served on the applicant on or before February 26, 1996, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
