     The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (Department), Bureau of Recreation and Conservation (Bureau) has approved the Sewickley Valley Rivers Conservation and Management Plan (Plan) and is placing the Little Sewickley Creek Watershed (Allegheny County) and the following watersheds covered in the Plan that flow directly into the Ohio River on the Pennsylvania Rivers Registry (Registry): Edgeworth Run, Hoey's Run, Davis Run, Park Run, Hayes Run, Kilbuck Run and Tom's Run watersheds and four unnamed tributaries.

     Sewickley Borough, Allegheny County submitted the Plan and other required information to gain Registry status.

     After review of the Plan and other information, the Department has determined that the Pennsylvania Rivers Conservation Program (Program) requirements have been satisfied and places the following on the Registry:

     • The watershed area of Little Sewickley Creek from its headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—7.4 square miles.

     • All tributary streams within the Sewickley Creek watershed area.

     • The watershed area of Fern Hollow from its headwaters to its confluence with the Little Sewickley Creek in Allegheny County—2.16 square miles.

     • All tributary streams within the Fern Hollow watershed area.

     • The watershed area of Edgeworth Run from the headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—1.07 square miles.

     • The watershed area of Hoey's Run from the headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—1.07 square miles.

     • The watershed area of Davis Run from the headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—0.91 square mile.

     • All tributary streams within the Davis Run watershed area.

     • The watershed area of Park Run from the headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—0.58 square mile.

     • The watershed area of Hayes Run from the headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—0.87 square mile.

     • All tributary streams within the Hayes Run watershed area.

     • An unnamed tributary from the headwaters in Aleppo Township to its confluence with the Ohio River in Haysville Borough (Allegheny County)—0.29 square mile.

     • An unnamed tributary from the headwaters in Aleppo Township to its confluence with the Ohio River in Glenfield Borough (Allegheny County)—0.21 square mile.

     • The watershed area of Kilbuck Run from its headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—5.06 square miles.

     • All tributary streams within the Kilbuck Run watershed area.

     • An unnamed tributary from the headwaters in Glenfield Borough to its confluence with the Ohio River in Kilbuck Township (Allegheny County)—0.15 square mile.

     • The watershed area of Tom's Run from its headwaters to its confluence with the Ohio River in Allegheny County—2.24 square miles.

     • All tributary streams within the Tom's Run watershed area.

     • An unnamed tributary from the headwaters in Kilbuck Township to its confluence with the Ohio River in Emsworth Borough (Allegheny County)—0.43 square mile.

     This action becomes effective October 12, 2013. Projects submitted to the Bureau, which are identified as part of the Plan, become eligible for implementation, development or acquisition grant funding through the Program.
