Section 104.55. Responsibilities of the producer

It is the responsibility of the producer to submit a complete production verification statement, as described in § 104.54 (relating to accounting, payment and verification procedures) and the appropriate producer charge owed the Program. This material shall be submitted to the Program either directly by the producer or through a person who is a collecting sales agent with respect to the producer’s vegetables. The producer shall retain a copy of any production verification statement form which is submitted to the Program for at least 2 growing seasons beyond the growing season with respect to which the form is submitted.
