Section 7.5. Animals to be tested

(a) Individual plan, first year. Blood for agglutination test shall be collected from unvaccinated animals 12 months of age and older and from officially vaccinated animals 18 months of age and older.
(b) Individual plan, second year and area plan herds. Blood for agglutination test shall be collected from animals that have freshened or are over 24 months of age.
(c) Other tests. Blood for agglutination test shall be collected from animals 6 months of age and older except vaccinated animals between the ages of 6 and 18 months.
(d) Breeding swine. Breeding swine over 6 months of age shall be bled to qualify for herd validation or when required to be tested for brucellosis trace back purposes.
