Section 205.4. Municipal traffic engineer education and experience

(a) General. A municipal traffic engineer shall possess a bachelors degree with major course work in engineering and at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, two of which shall have been in the traffic engineering fieldappropriate graduate study may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis; or a combination of engineering education and appropriate engineering and traffic engineering experience comparable to the requirements of this subsectionexperience may be substituted for undergraduate study on a two-for-one year basis.
(b) License. A municipal traffic engineer shall possess a professional engineers license issued by the State Registration Board for Professional Engineers.
