Section 183.2. Definitions

  • The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

    Carrier—A person who or which as owner, lessee or other possessor of one or more vehicles, directs or controls the transportation of metal cargo or logs either for their own account or for hire.

    Logs—Portions of trees having a natural shape and a diameter of at least 4 inches.

    Metal cargo—Metal products of the type and quantity referred to in § 183.1(1) and (2) (relating to application).
