Section 88.108. Ignition interlock for nonresidents

A person who is required to comply with 75 Pa.C.S. § 3805 (relating to ignition interlock), but is not a resident of this Commonwealth at the time when the person seeks a restoration of operating privileges, shall submit an affidavit and supporting documents to the Department indicating the persons state of residence. If the Department determines that the person is not a resident of this Commonwealth and the person has met all other restoration requirements, the persons driving privilege may be restored. If, however, the person should become a resident of this Commonwealth during the ignition interlock restricted license period, the person will not be issued an unrestricted license until the person complies with 75 Pa.C.S. § 3805 and this chapter.
