Section 3800.149. Emergency medical plan

(a) The facility shall have a written emergency medical plan listing the following:
(1) The hospital or source of health care that will be used in an emergency.
(2) The method of transportation to be used.
(3) An emergency staffing plan.
(4) Medical and behavior health conditions or situations under which emergency medical care and treatment are warranted.
(b) The childs parent and, if applicable, the childs guardian or custodian, shall be given a copy of the emergency medical plan upon admission.
(c) The childs parent and, if applicable, the childs guardian or custodian, shall be notified immediately if the emergency plan is implemented for the child.
