A county agency staff member may request a law enforcement officer to be present at any time during the course of fulfilling the county agency staff persons responsibilities under the CPSL and this chapter without violating the confidentiality provisions of the CPSL or this chapter when the worker fears for his own safety or the safety of anyone else involved.
