In addition to the definitions in § 3490.4 (relating to definitions), the following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
CORETraining in foundation level skills which are needed by all direct service workers in county agencies to provide services to abused and neglected children and their families.
Risk assessmentA Department-approved systematic process that assesses a childs need for protection or services based on the risk of harm to the child.
Training programThe Pennsylvania Child Welfare Competency-Based Training and Certification Program.
