Section 2600.234. Resident care

(a) Within 72 hours of the admission, or within 72 hours prior to the residents admission to the secured dementia care unit, a support plan shall be developed, implemented and documented in the resident record.
(b) The support plan must identify the residents physical, medical, social, cognitive and safety needs.
(c) The support plan must identify the individual responsible to address the residents needs.
(d) The support plan shall be revised at least annually and as the residents condition changes.
(e) The resident or the residents designated person shall be involved in the development and the revisions of the support plan.
