SubChapter A. THE CATEGORICALLY NEEDY HEALTHY BEGINNINGSPROGRAM FOR PREGNANT WOMEN AND QUALIFIEDCHILDREN |
Section 140.21. Conditions of eligibility

Eligibility for MA is based on the following:
(1) An individual shall meet one of the following criterion:
(i) Be pregnant.
(ii) Be a qualified child.
(2) An individual shall also meet the appropriate eligibility conditions in this title. The specific eligibility conditions which shall be met are the following:
(i) Chapter 148 (relating to MA residence provisions for categorically needy NMP-MA and MNO-MA).
(ii) Chapter 149 (relating to citizenship and alienage).
(iii) Chapter 155 (relating to enumeration).
(iv) Signing formsAn applicant/recipient is required to complete and sign the application/reapplication forms designated by the Department.
(v) Chapter 255 (relating to restitution).
(vi) Chapter 257 (relating to reimbursement).
(vii) Responsibility for reporting changesAn applicant/recipient is responsible for reporting accurately, within 1 week, a change in circumstances affecting eligibility.
(viii) Third party liabilityAn applicant/recipient shall cooperate in identifying and providing information to assist the Department in pursuing a third party who may be liable to pay for medical care and services.
