Section 97.15. Prohibition against securing withdrawal from competition

A person may not influence another person to withdraw from competition for a position in the classified service, nor may a waiver of another persons rights or availability be solicited for the purpose of either improving or injuring the prospects of an applicant for appointment or promotion. The Commission may take action that it deems appropriate whenever it finds that a person has violated this section.

Notation
