Section 1051.11. Patient qualifications to request and revoke out-of-hospital DNR order

(a) Patient requesting an out-of-hospital DNR order. A patient may request and receive an out-of-hospital DNR order from the patients attending physician if the patient has a terminal condition and the patient is at least 18 years of age, has graduated from high school, has married or is emancipated.
(b) Patient revoking an out-of-hospital DNR order. An out-of-hospital DNR patient, regardless of age or physical or mental condition, may revoke an out-of-hospital DNR order issued for the out-of-hospital DNR patient whether the order was issued pursuant to the request of the patient or the patients surrogate.
