When a hospital provides psychiatric services, they shall be provided in a manner sufficient to meet the psychiatric needs of the patients. The hospital shall meet the requirements of the Mental Health Procedures Act of 1976 (50 P. S. § § 71017503). Inpatient psychiatric services shall be coordinated with psychiatric clinic and partial hospitalization program as appropriate.
