Section 28.11. Informing the parent or guardian

Prior to specimen collection, the health care provider shall provide the pregnant woman, prior to the infants birth, or the mother or guardian, after the infants birth, with a pamphlet supplied by the Department to explain the nature of the newborn screening blood tests for the diseases in § 28.2 (relating to newborn diseases listed).
