This chapter establishes radiation safety requirements for persons using radiation sources for well logging in a single well, radioactive markers, uranium sinker bars and subsurface tracer studies. Persons who use radiation sources for well logging operations shall comply with this chapter, which is in addition to and not in substitution for other applicable requirements of this article, in particular, the requirements of Chapters 215, 217220, 228 and 230.
