Section 396. Bail

If transfer to criminal proceedings is ordered at the conclusion of the transfer hearing, the juvenile court judge shall determine bail for the juvenile. The bail rules in the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure shall apply.

If the juvenile cannot post bail, the judge may issue a commitment order so the juvenile may be detained in a jail or the judge may continue the juveniles detention as a juvenile pending trial. See 42 Pa.C.S. § 6327(d).
