Section 55.113. Exception for terminations based on occurrences harmful to person or property

When a service termination is undertaken due to a situation which endangers the safety of a person or which may prove harmful to the facilities of the utility, the utility may terminate service without written notice if that the utility reasonably and in good faith believes the basis for termination to exist. At the time of the actual termination, the utility shall make a bona fide attempt to deliver a notice of termination to a responsible person at the affected premises and shall also notify the involved regulatory agency and the Commissions Bureau.
