PennSERVE Grant Funding [37 Pa.B. 4952]
[Saturday, September 8, 2007]PennSERVE announces the availability of grant funding for operation of local AmeriCorps programs beginning in August 2008. Eligible applicants are community and faith-based nonprofit organizations, government agencies and educational institutions. The grants support the recruitment, training and management of AmeriCorps members who meet local needs in the areas of education, the environment, public safety, homeland security and other critical needs. A cash and in-kind match is required. Complete applications are due by 3 p.m. on Friday, November 2, 2007.
