Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania; Rate Increase Filing for the Individual BlueCare Security Package A Program to Supplement Medicare

 By filing No. 1589-BCSEC65-A-1/1/11, Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania is requesting the Insurance Department's (Department) approval to increase the current monthly rates for the BlueCare Security Package A plan by 15.53% effective January 1, 2011. This increase will impact approximately 176 monthly projected members and yield approximately $13,200 in additional revenue annually.

 Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to November 18, 2010, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
