    Rule 3520 Relating to Brief of the Appellant

          The Superior Court of Pennsylvania on September 5, 2001 adopted new rule 3520 concerning appending a copy of the Pa.R.A.P. 1925(b) statement filed in the trial court to the brief of the appellant. This new rule appears in the Pennsylvania Rules of Appellate Procedure--Business of the Superior Court, with the adoption of Rule 3520, appearing in 210 Pa. Code Chapter 35.

          This change becomes effective January 1, 2002.

    APPEALS AND ARGUMENT LISTS

    Rule 3520.  Brief of the Appellant.

          There shall be appended to the brief of the appellant a copy of the statement of matters complained of on appeal, filed with the trial court pursuant to Pa.R.A.P. 1925(b). If the trial court has not entered an order directing the filing of such a statement, the brief shall contain a statement that no order to file a statement pursuant to Pa. R.A.P. 1925(b) was entered by the trial court.
