The principal items of work and approximate quantities include 654,680 cubic yards of grading, 2,550 cubic yards of ditch excavation, 2,080 square yards of Rock Lining and 78.0 acres of seeding. This project issues on September 26, 2008, and bids will be opened on October 23, 2008, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $10 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal Government under the authority given it by Pub. L. No. 95-87 dated August 3, 1977, The Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, and is subject to that Law, and to the Federal Grant for this project.
