[Saturday, September 23, 2006]On August 31, 2006, the Insurance Department (Department) received from State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company a filing for rate level changes for private passenger automobile insurance.
The company requests an overall 2.3% decrease amounting to -$29.264 million annually, to be effective November 13, 2006, for new business and December 13, 2006, for renewals.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to October 30, 2006, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's regional office in Harrisburg.
