[Saturday, September 23, 2006]On August 25, 2006, the Insurance Department (Department) received from Nationwide Mutual Fire Insurance Company a filing for rate level changes for private passenger automobile insurance.
The company requests an overall 1.9% increase amounting to $1.483 million annually, to be effective January 3, 2007.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to October 24, 2006, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's regional office in Harrisburg.
Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Michael P.
