     Under 28 Pa. Code § 51.33 (relating to requests for exceptions), the Department of Health (Department) gives notice that PinnacleHealth Hospital (Weight Loss Clinic @ Silver Spring, 21 Waterford Drive, Mechanicsburg) has requested an exception to the requirements of 28 Pa. Code § 153.1 (relating to minimum standards), which requires compliance with minimum standards contained in the following publication: American Institute of Architects. The facility specifically requests exemptions from the following standards contained in this publication: 3.1-3.6.1, 3.1-3.6.6, 3.1-3.6.7, 3.1-3.6.9, 3.1-6.2.5 and 3.1-7.2.

     This request is on file with the Department. Persons may receive a copy of a request for exception by requesting a copy from the Department of Health, Division of Acute and Ambulatory Care, Room 532, Health and Welfare Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120, (717) 783-8980, fax (717) 772-2163, ra-paexcept@pa.gov.

     Persons who wish to comment on an exception request may do so by sending a letter by mail, e-mail or facsimile to the Division at the address listed previously.

     Comments received by the Department within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the Department before it decides whether to approve or disapprove the request for exception.
