  • Application for Increase in Underwriting Authority of a Domestic Stock Casualty Insurance Company

       Colonial Surety Company (Colonial Surety), a domestic stock casualty insurance company, has filed an application to increase its approved classes of underwriting authorities. The class of insurance that Colonial Surety has applied to add is as mentioned in 40 P. S. § 382(c)(4). Persons wishing to comment on the application are invited to submit a written statement to the Insurance Department (Department) within 14 days from the date of this issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Written statements must include name, address and telephone number of the interested party, identification of the application to which the statement is addressed and a concise statement with sufficient detail and relevant facts to inform the Department of the exact basis of the statement.
