Gagnon has filed an application to acquire a controlling interest of American Independent Insurance Company, a Pennsylvania domiciled stock casualty insurance company. The filing was made under the Insurance Holding Companies Act (40 P. S. §§ 991.1401--991.1413). Persons wishing to comment on the acquisition are invited to submit a written statement to the Insurance Department (Department) within 30 days from the date of this issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
