    Addendum and Revision of the Listing of Approved Speed-Timing Devices and Appointment of Maintenance and Calibration Stations

    Addendum

       The Department of Transportation, Bureau of Motor Vehicles, under the authority of section 3368 of the Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S. § 3368), published at 29 Pa.B. 6534 (December 25, 1999), a notice listing all Department-approved speed-timing devices and maintenance and calibration stations for use until the next comprehensive list is published. The Department added device approvals on January 29, 2000; February 26, 2000; and June 17, 2000, by publication at 29 Pa.B. 6534, 30 Pa.B. 591 and 30 Pa.B. 3126, respectively.

    Addition

       As a further addition to the December 1999 list of approved official electronic speed-timing devices (nonradar) which calculate average speed between any two points, the Department hereby gives notice of the addition of the following device:

       VASCAR-plus III. Manufactured by Traffic Safety Systems a division of Power Systems & Controls, Incorporated 3206 Lanvale Avenue, Richmond, Virginia 23230.
