Application of Temple University Health System, Lower Bucks Hospital for Exception to 28 Pa. Code § 153.1

   Under 28 Pa. Code § 51.33 (relating to requests for exceptions), the Department of Health (Department) gives notice that Lower Bucks Hospital has requested an exception to the requirements of 28 Pa. Code § 153.1 which requires compliance with minimum standard contained in the following publication: Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities. Lower Bucks Hospital requests an exception from section 7.8.A3 paragraph (e) of this publication, which requires each room shall include facilities for handwashing and charting.

   The request is on file with the Department.    Comments received by the Department within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the Department before it decides whether to approve or disapprove the request for exception.
