Public Comment Period Extended for National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Construction Activities (PAG-02) [42 Pa.B. 5938]
[Saturday, September 15, 2012]The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) by this notice is extending the public comment period for the proposed renewal of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) General Permit for Stormwater Discharges Associated with Construction Activities (PAG-02, 2012 amendment). This extension of the public comment period will allow public comments to be received until October 2, 2012.
The Department invites public comments on the proposed revisions to PAG-02. Only comments received during the public comment period, as extended until October 2, 2012, will be considered in the final renewal permit. If significant issues of public interest are raised, the Department may schedule a public meeting or hearing. Written comments should be submitted to Jennifer Orr, Chief of the NPDES Construction and Erosion Control Section at the address as follows. Comments will also be accepted at ep-pag02comments@state.pa.us. Comments sent by facsimile or voice mail will not be accepted.
The proposed PAG-02, 2012 amendment draft permit is available by contacting the Department of Environmental Protection, Bureau of Waterways Engineering and Wetlands, Rachel Carson State Office Building, P.
