[Saturday, September 13, 2008]This notice provides updated information about the Volunteer Fire Company and Volunteer Ambulance Services Grant Program. Volunteer fire companies and volunteer ambulance services seeking grants under the Volunteer Fire Company and Volunteer Ambulance Services Program Act (72 P. S. §§ 3943.1--3944.5) shall submit completed applications no later than 4 p.m. Eastern Daylight Saving Time on October 17, 2008. Written instructions and guidelines for the grant program will be available on line at the Office of State Fire Commissioner web site www.osfc.state.pa.us no later than September 1, 2008.
