Coal Mine Compensation Rating Bureau; Workers' Compensation Loss Cost Filing [31 Pa.B. 5018] On August 13, 2001, the Insurance Department (Department) received from the Coal Mine Compensation Rating Bureau (CMCRB) a filing for a loss cost level change for Workers' Compensation insurance. This filing is made in accordance with section 705 of the act of July 2, 1993 (P.L. 190, No. 44).
The CMCRB is making this filing to reflect promulgation of new regulations by the United States Department of Labor.
The CMCRB calculates an overall increase in loss costs of 652% to be effective January 19, 2001.
Copies of the filing are available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.
