INSURANCE DEPARTMENT AmeriHealth; Small Group—Pharmacy Rate Filing; Applicability—Group Size of Less than 51 [40 Pa.B. 4596]
[Saturday, August 7, 2010]On July 23, 2010, the Insurance Department (Department) received a filing from AmeriHealth requesting approval to adjust its small group pharmacy rates. The proposed average rate increase of 9.9% will be effective October 1, 2010.
The filing will affect approximately 91,900 contracts and generate additional revenue of approximately $14.28 million annually.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to October 20, 2010, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

Copies of the filing are also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's Harrisburg Office.
