Natural Gas Choice and Competition Act; Schedule for Filing

   On June 22, 1999, Governor Tom Ridge signed the Natural Gas Choice and Competition Act (act). Section 2204(b) of the act directs the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) to determine a schedule by which natural gas distribution companies subject to its jurisdiction are to make their restructuring filings. The Commission has consulted with the natural gas distribution companies in accordance with section 2204(b) of the act and is now adopting the following schedule for each natural gas distribution company to make its filing.

   Accordingly, the Commission shall expect each natural gas distribution company to file its restructuring plan in accordance with the previous schedule.
