Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes [42 Pa.B. 4990]
[Saturday, August 4, 2012]The Department of Transportation (Department), under section 2003(e)(7) of The Administrative Code of 1929 (71 P. S. § 513(e)(7)), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The following properties are available for sale by the Department:
Parcel 8—Avalon Borough, Allegheny County. This parcel contains approximately 3,378 + square feet or 0.078 + acre of unimproved land located on the northwest corner of Ohio River Boulevard (SR 0065) and Elizabeth Street. The estimated fair market value of the parcel is $1,900.
Parcel 11—Avalon Borough, Allegheny County. This parcel contains approximately 2,945 + square feet or 0.068 + acre of unimproved land located on the northerly side of Ohio River Boulevard (SR 0065) between Elizabeth and Prospect Streets. The estimated fair market value of the parcel is $1,100.
Interest public entities are invited to express their interest in purchasing this parcel within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to H. Daniel Cessna, P.
