The principal items of work and approximate quantities include mobilization and demobilization, road agreements, access roads, haul roads and traffic controls, preparation and implementation of the erosion and sediment control plan, topsoil excavation and placement 17,750 cubic yards, coal refuse reprocessing 1,200 tons, coal refuse disposal 2,478,000 cubic yards, channel excavation 15,150 cubic yards, rock lining with geotextile 8,380 square yards, grout 400 cubic yards, gabions 1,400 cubic yards, seeding 82 acres and price adjustment for diesel fuel cost fluctuations invoice. This bid issues on August 28, 2015, and bids will be opened on September 22, 2015, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $5 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (act) (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1308) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
