HM Health Insurance Company; Individual Conversion; Rate Filing [41 Pa.B. 4730]
[Saturday, August 27, 2011]On August 11, 2011, HM Health Insurance Company submitted a rate filing (1A-CONV/PPO-11-HHIC) to increase the premium rates for the Conversion Product. The filing proposes a rate increase of 9.9% or $61.33 per contract per month and will generate approximately $348,000 of additional annual revenue. This filing will affect approximately 500 contract holders. The requested effective date of the change is January 1, 2012.
This filing also requests the following benefit changes: removal of private duty nursing; change to Progressive Rx Formulary; extended infusion therapy to be eligible with certain providers; and clarify contract language to exclude surrogate maternity.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to November 9, 2011, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
