     On June 2, 2011, Roseann Thomas, license no. PN282010, of Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, had her nursing license indefinitely suspended effective June 22, 2011, based on her failure to comply with an Order of the State Board of Nursing (Board) requiring her to undergo a mental and physical examination.

     Individuals may obtain a copy of the Memorandum Opinion and Order by writing to Judith Pachter Schulder, Board Counsel, State Board of Nursing, P. O. Box 2649, Harrisburg, PA 17105-2649.

     Individuals may file a request for a hearing to challenge the validity of the Order compelling the examination or to contest the allegations of the motion to deem facts admitted along with an answer within 20 days of publication of this notice. If a request for hearing and answer are not filed within the time period set forth previously, a final adjudication and Order indefinitely suspending the license will be issued by the Board.
