MVP Health Plan; Certificate of Authority [26 Pa.B. 4136] On July 30, 1996, MVP Health Plan filed with the Departments of Health and Insurance, an application for a Certificate of Authority to establish, operate and maintain a health maintenance organization in accordance with the provisions of the Health Maintenance Organization Act (40 P. S. §§ 1551--1567), Department of Health HMO Regulations (28 Pa. Code §§ 9.1--9.97) and the Insurance Department's HMO Regulations (31 Pa. Code §§ 301.1--301.204).
The proposed service area of the applicant involves the Lackawanna, Luzerne, Susquehanna, Wayne and Wyoming counties.
