The principal items of work and approximate quantities include 4,890 cubic yards of grading, 300 square yards of R-3 Rock Lining, 650 linear feet of Subsurface Drain, 885 linear feet of Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe--various types and sizes. This project also involves Mine Drain Excavation and Construction. This project issues on August 22, 2008, and bids will be opened on September 18, 2008, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $10 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal Government under the authority given it by Pub. L. No. 95-87 dated August 3, 1977, The Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977, and is subject to that Law, and to the Federal Grant for this project.
