Independence Blue Cross; Filing No. 12-P-98; Security 65 Program Rate Increase (Plans A, B, C and H) [28 Pa.B. 4218] Independence Blue Cross submitted a request to increase the premium rates by 13.46% across the board for its Security 65 Medicare Supplement business. The proposed rate increase would affect approximately 87,000 members, and would produce an additional annualized premium income of $10.0 million. An effective date of January 1, 1999 is requested.
