    Application and Request for Approval of a Recapitalization of a Domestic Stock Insurance Company

       The Pennsylvania Patriot Insurance Company, a Pennsylvania stock casualty insurance company, has submitted a Plan of Recapitalization, whereby it proposes to reduce the stated capital of the company. The initial filing was received on June 19, 1996, and was made under requirement set forth under the Business Corporation Law of 1988, 15 Pa.C.S. § 21205 et. seq. Persons wishing to comment on the grounds of public or private interest to the issuance of the Department's order approving this recapitalization are invited to submit a written statement to the Insurance Department within 15 days from the date of this issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Each written statement must include the name, address and telephone number of the interested party, identification of the application to which the statement is addressed and a concise statement with sufficient detail to inform the Insurance Department of the exact basis of the statement and the relevant facts upon which it is based.
