HEALTH CARE COST CONTAINMENT COUNCIL Request For Information; Severity Adjustment Systems [36 Pa.B. 4083]
[Saturday, July 29, 2006]To ensure that the Health Care Cost Containment Council (Council) adopts and maintains both scientifically credible and cost-effective methodology to collect and disseminate data reflecting provider quality and effectiveness, the Council is issuing a Request For Information (RFI) on severity adjustment systems/methodologies. The purpose of this RFI is to obtain information on risk adjustment/severity adjustment systems that would allow the Council to analyze the performance, reliability, operational cost and financial viability of these systems with regard to meeting the Council's data collection and reporting requirements.
