The Medical Protective Company; Rate Filing
[28 Pa.B. 3564] On July 6, 1998, the Insurance Department received from The Medical Protective Company a Pennsylvania Physicians & Surgeons Rate filing, which proposes to modify the current filed Class Plan by reassigning several specialties and file to increase the policy limit to $400,000 per occurrence, and $1,200,000 per annual aggregate, to comply with Act 135. The overall premium effect of this filing is +10.0%. The proposed effective date is January 1, 1999.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to September 4, 1998, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
Copies of the filing will be available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.
