INSURANCE DEPARTMENT Application and Request for Approval to Redomes-ticate from Homesite Insurance Company of Pennsylvania [40 Pa.B. 4225]
[Saturday, July 24, 2010]Homesite Insurance Company of Pennsylvania, a domestic stock casualty insurance company, has filed an application for approval of a plan of redomestication whereby the state of domicile would change from Pennsylvania to Georgia. The initial filing was made under the requirements set forth under 15 Pa.C.S. §§ 1977 and 1980, 15 P. S. §§ 21205 and 21207 and 40 P. S. § 477e.
Persons wishing to comment on the grounds of public or private interest to the issuance of the Insurance Department's (Department) order approving the redomestication are invited to submit a written statement to the Department within 7 days from the date of this issue of the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Each written statement must include name, address and telephone number of the interested party; identification of the application to which the statement is addressed; and a concise statement with sufficient detail and relevant facts to inform the Department of the exact basis of the statement.
